ABOUT THIS SITE

INTRODUCTION
The ValleyWeb site is an initiative for the new millennium for the parishes of Lower Heyford, Rousham, Somerton and Upper Heyford, which are located in the Cherwell Valley region of Oxfordshire, England.

ValleyWeb aims to provide informative and interesting items about the parishes, and also to reach the growing audience of people who are connected to the internet. It is hoped that it will not only be of interest to the current residents of the villages, but also to those who have lived here previously, and to those who are simply interested in life in English villages.

ADVERTISING
Advertising is available in two formats.

  1. Banner advertisements: Size is no greater than 600 pixels wide by 50 pixels deep, one per page. You can supply your own, or one can be designed to your specifications. Cost: £100 per year, an additional £50 to have one designed for you.
  2. Advertising directory of companies, suppliers and services: This will take the form of a small advertisement, and can include your own logo/picture, a small amount of text and contact details including your email and website (providing it is family-safe). Your advertisement will be inserted into the appropriate category within the advertising directory. Cost: £20 per year.

ValleyWeb reserve the right to refuse to advertise any company, service or person that fails to comply with normal family-safe standards, or to cancel without notice the advertisement of any company, service or person who contravenes normal family-safe standards. In such instances advertising fees are not refundable.

Payment for advertisements is in advance. All monies raised from advertising are directly donated to the Cherwell Parishes Central Churches' Fund.

Please email ValleyWeb for further details regarding advertising on the ValleyWeb site.
