WOES
OF A SHOW DOG
I
am a very small dog
My tum is near the floor
I must not get any bigger
Cos Mum says I can't weigh more!
I
do get lots to eat you know
But sometimes I just feel
If I could reach the table
There'd be lots of food to steal
It
really is a nuisance tho'
With little legs like these
I have to sit and watch and hope
It's no good saying "Please"
They
just say "no - it's not for you
You've had your share today
You must be slim and beautiful
Or 'bang' the scales will say"
Oh
blow the scales - I'm feeling bad
A sausage would be nice
I'll trip Mum up and one will drop
I'll eat it in a trice
I
am a very small dog
But bigger than before
And feeling rather fat and full
And can't eat any more
